If you reached this site you most likely entered the IP address
for our ftp server directly into a web browser, i.e. http://208.109.161.144.
You will need to change http to ftp to upload files, i.e. ftp://208.109.161.144.
You can also use ftp.chronicleftp.com

Internet Explorer is the only browser that seems to work well for uploading to our server.
If your are using Explorer click here to log in.
Once you are logged in all you'll see is a blank window.
Drag your file(s) into this window and it/they will start uploading.
However, our FTP server works best using a FTP client such as:
on a Mac Fetch, Transmit or
on Windows CuteFTP or one of the dozen other programs available.

Firefox has a free ftp plugin called FireFTP that works real well.
You will have to download and install it as the plug-in doesn't come preinstalled on Firefox.
Click on connect and you should now be connected to our ftp server.
Your files are in the left window. Our server is in the right window.
Drag your files to the right window and they should start uploading.

- Once it is installed you launch it by going to tools/fireftp
- click on create account
Enter the info supplied by The Chronicle Printing Division
- Account name can be anything you want
- Host is the IP address: 208.109.161.144 or chronicleftp.com
- Login is the unique user name supplied by The Chronicle
- The password is also supplied by The Chronicle
- Click ok and your account is now saved
Click on connect and you should now be connected to our ftp server.
Your files are in the left window. Our server is in the right window.
Drag your files to the right window and they should start uploading.
